Jacob Maliecal, "The Sagrada Familia of Spain (Barcelona), which continues to be built after a hundred and thirty years
Work began in 1882, and today was the first time that the church was still under construction. It was made possible when he visited Barcelona as part of a Mediterranean cruise voyage with Kerry friends in Switzerland.
Designed by the then famous architect of Spain, Anthony Gaud ((1852-1926), the church was declared a Pope John Paul Basilica in 2010 and a UNESCO Heritage Site. Anthony Gowdy dedicated his life to building this shrine. Only a quarter of it was completed during his lifetime.
Ten of the 18-tower mosque's plan was completed.
The Goudy Plan was drawn up by the Crucifixion of Jesus to the Sagrada Familia Church. In the Gothic style, he plans to interiorize the temple into a forest, into a series of shingles and columns. Characteristics of this shrine:
The Church is a rare creation that combines the perfect Catholic faith, Catalan culture, high architect, poetry, nature, light and color.
# The Zagrada Familia Church (170 meters high) is the tallest church in the world when it is completed.
# Its architect, Anthony Gowdy, is buried in the crypt of this church.
# This shrine is a UNESCO protected area today.
#The church is not a cathedral.
# 18 The towers are also biblically planned
#Goody's tragic end
In 1926, at the age of seventy-three, his life was taken by an accident that shocked the world. No one recognized this unique talent that looked like a street beggar. His death came to an end when people realized that he was the architect of Spain's miraculous shrine, without receiving enough blood and without even getting the services he needed.
