alga called diatom

In the picture is an alga called diatom.
algae called diatom

What is interesting about this is the fact that after a conversation with a friend about how to find a forensic exports postmortem, it seems interesting .. :)

If a corpse is found in the pond, the main question before the police is whether he died by drowning or whether the corpse is dumped in the pool.

This algae is a creature that helps police find the answer to that question!

 First some facts.
After death, the muscles in the throat are loosened and the esophagus and trachea are closed. If the body is put into water after death, it cannot enter the lungs. But if a person dies by drowning, the water will enter the lungs of the person who is drowning. (That's why you drown and die.)

If so, the aquatic organisms such as the above diatom algae will enter the lungs. Due to its small size, this algae can reach the lungs and blood and other organs through the blood. Obviously, the algae can only be found in the internal organs of the corpse, as all of this - life, breathing, algae influx, circulation of blood and circulation of the living body - is all there is to life when the water enters the lungs.

A close inspection of the brain and marrow of a dead body found in the water indicates that this algae was drowned (of course, one of the most important of the many pieces of evidence).

The diatom algae are also characterized by an outer layer of insoluble silica. Another advantage of this is that it can be found in a body that has dissolved in water for several days.

The field of study is called forensic limnology.

Mysteries of the Kola Bor crater

Is hell underground ...?  Mysteries of the Kola Bor crater ... kola superdeep borehole  The Kola bore-hole project celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2006 at the Sapolini station near Le Marmamance, Arctic. What is the Kola bore-hole project .....? The project began on May 24, 1970, on the Kola Peninsula in the old Soviet Union's Pichinsky district, with the goal of digging as deep as possible into the earth's crust as far as possible for the modern world. The project, which is still the deepest artificial point on earth, reached a depth of 12 km in 1983 and was only 262 meters over the next ten years. In 1995, when the total depth reached 12,262 m (40,230 ft), the project was unexpectedly discontinued. Scientists were initially surprised to find fossils of micro-organisms in the oceans four kilometers deep, and later, they found out that all textbook predictions were false. The granite was much hotter than predicted when the pit was gone. At ...

Occurs during the flight

Occurs during the flight: Occurs during the flight We must first understand that there is no air conditioning on the flight. The aircraft is flying at an altitude of about 12 km.  The temperature would then be around minus forty-five degrees Celsius.  You know that zero degrees is enough to freeze water. The weather is very cold.  There is a Combustion Chamber inside the engine of the aircraft (turbine). This will allow the hot air to pass through it.  People cannot give this air directly. The air is then passed through a heat exchanger. It will be cooled to make it usable for travelers.  It is this air that gets us through the duct (via knobs) placed on top of our heads. This is called Bleed air.  In addition, the cabin pressure inside the aircraft needs constant maintenance. Reason  There will be about 120 to 538 people on a flight.  To control the cabin...

"The big eagle is dead ..."  (The big dead is dead.) Sultan Muhammad al-Fatih - The big eagle is dead  Message from the Venezuelan Doge Giovanni Moseniogic from Constantinople on May 3, 1481. The doge, who presented gifts to the messenger, called out to the world the ringleader of the church. The news is spreading like wildfire in European durbar. That message changed hands for the emperors and the pope in Istanbul  "Huge dead ..."   Whenever news arrives in each country, they are celebrating. Pallbearers are ringing. The informant Pope called on them to engage in cheerful activities.  What's this big? What made Europe so happy with this death? Why are they so afraid of the giant? The opening of a series of questions opens a major milestone in the history of the Middle Ages. The history of their failures, which were so deliberately concealed, was sufficient to undermine the very existence of Europe and the ...
