The biggest fish ever ...
A fish that has been on Earth for 15 billion years. It was once the favorite food of Chinese kings. The fish, known as the king of the river and the tiger in the river, is no more. The Chinese paddlefish (Psephurus gladius) has become an extinct species that was first reported in the decade.

Even in the aftermath of the great destruction of the dinosaurs, the fish that survived the fate of humanity have ceased to exist.
The giant fish was found only in Yangtze, China, the world's third largest river. Some 378 species of fish are still found in the river. But the once-abundant paddlefish are no longer among them. It has been brought to an end by unscientific fishing and dam construction.
Researchers have been digging the river for at least a decade to find a paddlefish. The last one was seen in 2003. Environmentalists raised the alarm after a search between 2005 and 2010 went missing.
A few years before that, in 1996, they were listed on the IUCN Red List. It was in the most endangered category. Later they were also referred to as the Panda Link in the Yangtze River.
It was named because it is a very rare creature that resembles pandas. Paddlefish were one of the largest of freshwater fish. The fish was about four feet in length and could grow to about 23 feet. It weighs about 450 kg. That is, the weight of a male polar bear. Freshwater fishes are so rare that they grow so large.
These have not changed much in the Earth since the Lower Jurassic. The fish was found using a long nose. These were hunted in large numbers during the 1970s. Then the number dropped. In the 1980s, China was declared a nationally protected species. Even then, they were killing as much as 25 tons per year. Meanwhile, in 1981, the Gseuba Dam came across the Yangtze River. This greatly affected their breeding. That is why it is cheaper at once. It has also been found that the number of fish that can be properly reproduced declined sharply in 1993
Environmentalists are endangering the existence of these species since 1995 when they were only seen sporadically. The mid-term appearances ended in 2005–10. A tag was added to track the passage of the fish, which was last discovered in 2003, but was lost within hours. In 2017 and digit18, researchers tried to traverse the river and fish markets in many places, but there was no trace of paddlefish.
A search of Yangtze, led by the Chinese Academy of Fisheries Sciences in 2018, identified 332 species of fish, but did not include a baby of paddlefish. In this study, 140 species of fish are on the verge of extinction. In the short run, the shocking new endangered species from the Yangtze River will continue.
